About the Project
As a pre-approved Retro-Commissioning provider through Dominion’s Non-Residential Office and Non-ResidentialBuilding Optimization programs, HBS Solutions was able to provide a turnkey approach that identified, evaluated,quantified, implemented, and verified Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs). The ECMs included in this engagementprovided improved operational efficiency and resulted in quick returns on investment. Particular attention was focusedon low-cost and operational driven savings as core strategies to energy conservation.
The Non-Residential Office and Non-Residential Building Optimization process involves five phases: detailed investigation phase including a Level I & II ASHRAE energy audit, preliminary energy study and calculations, implementation of the ECMs, final energy study and calculations, and verification phase. Financial incentives are provided through the Dominion programs which cover up to 75% of the total project costs.
